Americano Rules
Learn how to play Americano format padel tournaments
Core Rules
The fundamental principles of Americano tournament format
1
Each player partners with every other player exactly once
Partnership rotation ensures everyone plays with everyone else exactly once
2
Matches are played to a fixed point cap (typically 32 points total)
No games to a specific score - matches end when point cap is reached
3
Players accumulate points individually regardless of partnership
Your personal score is the sum of all points you earn across all matches
4
Final standings are determined by total points earned
Winner is determined by highest individual point total
